The reveal of official Hasbro Zelda figures has finally arrived! When Hasbro hinted their licensing with Nintendo to work on one of its Hasbro Pulse high-end action figures based on The Legend of Zelda Franchise, there was a lot of speculation on what the lineup for these 6-inch-scale figures could look like. Luckily, toy collectors and gaming fans didn’t have to wait long for answers.

At San Diego Comic-Con, Hasbro unveiled the debut lineup of its brand-new The Legend of Zelda: Heroes of Hyrule collection, giving attendees a first look at physical prototypes for Link, Princess Zelda, and Ganondorf.

Based Directly on Tears of the Kingdom

To clear up any initial confusion among collectors, these new Hasbro Zelda figures draw their design inspiration directly from 2023’s hit title, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom—rather than the upcoming live-action movie or rumours surrounding an Ocarina of Time remake.

Designed at a detailed 6-inch scale (similar to Hasbro’s popular Star Wars: The Black Series or G.I. Joe Classified lines), Link and Zelda stand right at 6 inches tall, while the formidable Demon King Ganondorf looms over them at a beefier 7.5 inches. All three figures feature 20+ points of articulation, detailed sculpts, premium window-box packaging with green and gold framing, and game-accurate accessories:

  • Link: Features a soft-goods fabric cape, the Hylian Shield, the iconic Master Sword, and an interchangeable right hand displaying his glowing Zonai powers.
  • Princess Zelda: Modelled after her Royal dress in Tears of the Kingdom, she comes equipped with the Decayed Master Sword and an interchangeable sword-grip hand.
  • Ganondorf: Our favourite villain! This huge deluxe figure comes with the Demon King’s iconic Gloom Sword, a fitted scabbard, and you can even interchange his right hand to wield his blade.

Pre-Order Chaos: Link Sells Out in Seconds

Pre-orders officially opened following the SDCC reveal across major retailers like Hasbro Pulse, Amazon, GameStop, and Walmart. However, securing a pre-order for Link proved to be a major side quest.

Even though Hasbro Zelda figures will be releasing in Spring 2027, which is almost a year from now, the 6-inch Link figure sold out within seconds across several major retail platforms as thousands of collectors and Zelda fans rushed to get their hands on one (including me!). It is a bit sad to know that Ganondorf and Princess Zelda remained available slightly longer, but this only proves Link’s popularity among the community.

Pricing Breakdown:

  • Link (6-Inch Scale): $27.99
  • Princess Zelda (6-Inch Scale): $27.99
  • Ganondorf (7.5-Inch Deluxe Scale): $42.99

What Characters Should Hasbro Make Next?

Starting the Heroes of Hyrule line with the main trio from Tears of the Kingdom is a logical move, but the potential for future waves of Hasbro Zelda figures is massive.

Personally, as a huge fan of The Legend of Zelda lore, I would love to see Hasbro dive into retro games for future releases. Getting our hands on an Ocarina of Time lineup—featuring classic Kokiri Link, Young Zelda, the Sage Champions (like Nabooru and Darunia), or even a classic OOT Ganondorf—would be an absolute dream for long-time fans who grew up on the N64 era.

Beyond retro designs, there are plenty of Tears of the Kingdom and Breath of the Wild characters that deserve the 6-inch treatment, including the modern Sages (Sidon, Riju, Yunobo, and Tulin), Purah, or even a Deluxe Talus or Lynel build-a-figure.

If you’re attending San Diego Comic-Con, make sure to visit the Hasbro booth (#3213) to see these Hasbro Zelda figures displayed across their multi-tiered floating island diorama up close!

Were you able to grab a pre-order for Link before he sold out, or are you waiting for restocks ahead of the 2027 launch? What characters do you want to see added to wave two of the Heroes of Hyrule line? Let me know in the comments below!
