In its latest Nintendo Direct, Nintendo unveiled an exciting lineup of upcoming games for the Nintendo Switch — including the long-awaited Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, a brand-new Zelda adventure starring Princess Zelda, and several surprises from both first-party and third-party developers.

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom (Sept. 26, 2024)
Play as Princess Zelda in her first solo adventure! With Link missing, Zelda teams up with a fairy named Tri and uses the Tri Rod to create “echoes” of objects and monsters to solve puzzles and fight enemies in creative ways. A gold Zelda-themed Switch Lite launches alongside the game.
Metroid Prime 4: Beyond (2025)
Samus Aran returns in the first new mainline Metroid Prime entry in years. The trailer teases high-stakes exploration and combat, slated for release in 2025.
