Disney Live Entertainment is getting ready to debut a breathtaking new nighttime spectacular at EPCOT: “Luminous: The Symphony of Us,” launching on December 5. This all-new experience combines fireworks, fountains, lights, and music to celebrate the emotional connections that unite us all — a true symphony of the human experience.

Inspired by the structure of a symphony, this show is divided into musical movements, each representing shared moments of life: love, family, friendship, loss, and hope. It features two brand-new original songs alongside reimagined Disney classics like “You’ll Be in My Heart,” “Proud Corazón,” “You’ve Got a Friend in Me,” “When She Loved Me,” “I See the Light,” and more.

At the beginning of the show, World Showcase awakens as voices from each pavilion welcome guests to the celebration. The first movement kicks off with the original ballad, “Heartbeat Symphony” — an emotional opener that sets the tone for what’s to come.

Sneak Peek: Disney recently shared behind-the-scenes footage of the music recording sessions, including a preview of “Heartbeat Symphony.”

As the show unfolds:

  • The parenthood and childhood section is highlighted by a multilingual version of “You’ll Be in My Heart.”
  • The family movement is brought to life with “Proud Corazón.”
  • For friendship, you’ll hear heartwarming renditions of “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” and “Friend Like Me.”
  • The romantic chapter glows with “So Close” from Enchanted.
  • The theme of loss is sensitively handled with “When She Loved Me” and “Remember Me,” before rising into “Into the Unknown.”

The emotional climax leads into the uplifting Disney favorite “I See the Light,” followed by the finale song, “Beating of Our Hearts.” It’s a triumphant celebration of unity, hope, and the journey we all share.

Musical Talent Behind the Show
Composer Pinar Toprak, known for her work on the EPCOT anthem and film scores, leads the musical direction. The show also features vocal performances by Sheléa and Katharine McPhee, adding emotional depth and richness to the soundtrack.
